Native New Englander with an innate appetite for travel…
This blog follows my previous and current adventures, and reflections about my life, art history, and archaeology.
My first backpacking trip was in college, when I worked at a hostel in Sicily and traipsed my way through Italy, Greece, the UK, and Ireland. A few months after graduation, I wandered along Australia’s east coast for several months.
Between 2015 to 2016, I lived abroad in Glasgow, Scotland to study for a MS in International Relations and focussed on the weaponization of cultural heritage during political conflicts. During my graduate school, I was able to go on many more backpacking excursions – in fact, 16 countries.
Now, I’m working full-time at a non-profit and traveling whenever possible.
Simple, but favorite past-times of mine are: hiking, reading and writing fiction, practicing yoga, painting, and occasionally leveling up my Pokemon on my gameboy color.
